Backbends are an integral part of a complete yoga practice. They improve flexibility, increase mobility of the spine, and help realign posture, especially for people who spend a great deal of time in front of the computer. However, without the correct knowledge and foundation they can be difficult to approach. Join Shannon in a three hour workshop to discover how to make backbends an uplifting and nourishing part of your practice. We will specifically focus on Urdhva Dhanurasana (Wheel) & Eka Pada Rajakapotasana (One Legged King Pigeon Pose or Mermaid).
