Get your dose of relaxation, meditation and restoration during our Yin 'n Nidra class. This class offers you a 60-minute slow-paced yoga class where you hold each separate yoga pose for about 5 minutes followed by a 30-minute supercharged power nap; 'yogic sleep'.

 During the Yin yoga part your connective tissue receives a work-out through the seated and lying poses while being supported by props when needed. We focus on flexibility more than on strength.
Ever wondered what it's like to be conscious while you're sleeping? Well... turns out there's yoga for that: Yoga Nidra, or 'yogic sleep'. Yoga Nidra refers to a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping, like that moment just before falling asleep. A major difference with meditation is that rather than focus, the goal in Yoga Nidra is to completely relax. Yoga Nidra has been around for a long-long time. The first mention of it is in the Mahabharata,, a Sanskrit text that's so old that nobody can figure out when it was actually written. It can be the antidote to stress and anxiety for stressed-out peeps.
This cocktail of Yin and Yoga Nidra is for all levels, whether you have been practicing yoga for years or are new to yoga. You'll end up leaving this 90 minute class completely revived and balanced.
