Downtown Shala
This is our Shala, our home. The beating heart of Svaha Yoga Amsterdam, where we teach most of our yoga classes and host our events. You’ll find our Downtown Studio in the very city center, hidden in one of the oldest and most historic alleyways of Amsterdam.
It’s actually right off the Kalverstraat, in the heart of the popular shopping district – which means you’ll get to practice yoga to the hum of the city. Our monumental building houses two large yoga studios for about 30 yogis each, plus a beautiful attic where you can unwind and enjoy your cup of tea.

Jordaan Studio
This is our oldest location, where we’ve been teaching for over 15 years now. It’s located in the Jordaan, right around the corner of some of the nicest streets and canals Amsterdam has to offer. With its colorful walls and space for at least 30 downward-facing dogs, the Jordaan Studio is our definition of cosy.

North Studio
Our satellite studio in the Northern part of Amsterdam (Amsterdam Noord or just “Noord”, as we locals call it). It’s a very nice and homey space where we practice almost daily – hidden away next to the Vliegenbos. We’ve put a sign on our door, but please make sure to pick the right one because the house next to us is inhabited.

True to Patrick‘s roots, we’ve opened a retreat center in Suriname. It’s not open all-year round, but if you’re interested in practicing there or going on a retreat, please send us an email to inform about dates.
