July 13 @ 16:00 - 18:00
€25 – €30Sthiti – Unsurpassed Calm
tatra sthitau yatno ‘bhyāsaḥ – PYS 1:13
enthusiastic commitment (yatna) to doing whatever is necessary to achieve a state free from thoughts (sthiti) is the definition of practice (abhyasa)
Modern city life surrounds us with noise, light, motion, and endless information—stirring the senses, unsettling the mind, and provoking Vata. Hours of screen time and days spent indoors can leave us restless, tense, yearning for calm —and distant from our dharma.
Happily we can follow Patanjali’s guidance and wholeheartedly embrace a practice that leads to Sthiti. This class fosters grounded embodiment and ease, calms and soothes Vata through purposeful asana—both dynamic and sustained holds—Dirgha Rechaka (exhale extensions), and Apana Vayu Mudra. Leave class infused with Sthiti—unsurpassed calm.
€25 for Svaha members/€30 for non-members
