About me

Yoga taught me to find a balance between strength and flexibility. In the mid-nineties, yoga was the perfect way for me to get back in touch with myself after a day at the office. Many years later I learned yoga also helped me to balance flexibility and strength mentally. During a rough patch in life, I felt a clear connection between what was going on in my mind and how this influenced my body. By learning to become still, without judging, I started to find peace. Yoga helped to create the space in my mind to see what wonderful things and people I have in my life.

Over the years, I started deepening my practice with yoga teacher training. First at the Raja Yoga Instituut in Ilpendam and later at Svaha Yoga Amsterdam. My greatest joy as a teacher is to pass on the love that I have for yoga. My flow yoga classes focus on being present in the here and now. By exploring your limits with care and attention, students experience how relaxing and rigorous a regular yoga practice can be. It feels great to share my passion for yoga with others!
